WASHINGTON, Aug. 4 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following article from Economics Daily:
Unemployment rates were higher in June than a year earlier in 388 of the 389 metropolitan areas and lower in 1 area. The national unemployment rate in June was 11.2 percent, not seasonally adjusted, up from 3.8 percent a year earlier. Atlantic City-Hammonton, New Jersey, had the highest unemployment rate in June, 34.3 percent. Logan, Utah-Idaho, and Idah . . .
