WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- Rep. Andre Carson, D-Indiana, issued the following news release:

Congressman Carson announced significant victories for Hoosiers and all Americans in H.R. 7617, the second "minibus" of fiscal year 2021 appropriations bills, which passed the House. This includes an important amendment Congressman Carson offered that secures an additional $5 million dollars for pancreatic cancer research, including early detection, at the Department of Defense (DoD).
