WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters announced $295,415 for fire departments in Fenton and Mt. Pleasant to purchase new equipment and improve services. These grants include $11,428 for the City of Fenton and $283,987 for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. These grants come from the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Assistance to Firefighters Grants program.
