Smithsonian African American Museum Issues Statement on Death of Ex-Presidential Candidate Cain

WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- The Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture issued the following statement by Interim Director Spencer Crew on the death of Herman Cain, American businessman and ex-Republican Presidential candidate and political commentator:

It is with great sadness that we at the National Museum of African American History and Culture mourn the passing of Herman Cain.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, but raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Herman . . .
