HOUSTON, Texas, Aug. 1 -- Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Mike Lee (R-Utah), along with Sens. Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.), Ben Sasse (R-Neb.), and Mike Braun (R-Ind.) on Thursday sent a letter to President Trump expressing their concerns regarding the constraints placed by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) on Texas' ability to protect its Medicaid program.
In the letter, they wrote:
