WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- Sen. Rick Scott, R-Florida, issued the following statement:
"Every Floridian needs to be careful and take this storm seriously. Even if Hurricane Isaias stays off our coast, we should still expect potential impacts like deadly storm surge, rip tides and rip currents. Although preparing for a storm might look a little different amid the coronavirus, we cannot let our guards down. Get prepared now.
