WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- Rep. Max Rose, D-New York, issued the following news release:
The House of Representatives passed a major funding bill which included a $96 million increase in funding for opioid prevention, treatment, and recovery services that was secured by Congressman Max Rose. Also included in the funding bill are provisions secured by Rose to increase funding for law enforcement mental health programs by 50 percent, to provide $25 million in grant funding to install fire . . .
