University of Texas: Research Shows New Education Program May Increase Hepatitis C Screenings

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, July 31 -- The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio issued the following news release:

A team of researchers from UT Health San Antonio and UT Southwestern have published a study in the Journal of Cancer Education showing that a new, shortened training program for health care providers may increase screenings for hepatitis C virus (HCV) across the region.
