WASHINGTON, July 31 -- Sen. Jack Reed, D-Rhode Island, issued the following statement on July 30 regarding the cancellation of a scheduled nomination hearing for Anthony Tata, nominated to be under Secretary of Defense for Policy, the number three job at the Pentagon:
