WASHINGTON, July 31 -- Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, issued the following news release:
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) announced the award of $3.2 million in grants to seven Hawaii universities and colleges through the U.S. Department of Education's Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions Program.
The purpose of the Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions Program is to provide grants to eligible institutions of higher education to enable them to improve and expand their capacity . . .
