WASHINGTON, July 31 -- Rep. Max Rose, D-New York, issued the following news release on July 30:
After successfully securing an increase in funding for law enforcement mental health grants last year, Congressman Max Rose sponsored an amendment which was passed by the House of Representatives to further increase funding by 50 percent for the upcoming fiscal year. The amendment was included in a larger funding bill which is expected to pass the House of Representatives on Friday.
