WASHINGTON, July 30 -- Rep. Nita Lowey, D-New York, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Nita Lowey (D-NY17/Rockland-Westchester), Chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee, announced that $264,384 in funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) will be awarded to two local organizations in Westchester and Rockland. Historic Hudson Valley in Pocantico Hills will receive a $189,384 Landmarks of American History and Culture grant and Stone Lantern Film . . .
