WASHINGTON, July 30 -- Rep. Max Rose, D-New York, issued the following news release:
Congressman Max Rose paid tribute to the life of Fred Cerullo, Jr., father of former Staten Island city councilman Fred Cerullo III, in a speech on the House floor. Mr. Cerullo, Jr. was well-known on both sides of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, as the manager of Owl's Head Service Center, a neighborhood landmark in Bay Ridge, and as a constant presence at his son's events on Staten Island.
