U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), a member of the Senate Commerce Committee, released the following statement after the Nebraska Experimental Testbed of Things (NEXTT), led by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the city of Lincoln, Nebraska, was awarded $300,000 from the Platforms for Advanced Wireless Research (PAWR) program, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
