WASHINGTON, July 29 -- Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-New York, issued the following news release on July 28:
U.S. Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand announced $5,500,000 in CARES Act, emergency federal funding for the Central New York Regional Transportation Authority (CENTRO). This federal funding was secured in the CARES Act, allocated by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and will allow transit services to continue in Onondaga, Osweg . . .
