BUFFALO, New York, July 24 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of New York, James P. Kennedy Jr., issued the following news release:
U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr., Buffalo Police Commissioner Byron Lockwood, and Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced that the Department of Justice has awarded the Buffalo Police Department a 2020 Project Safe Neighborhood grant totaling $229,837. The funding will be used to implement a Shoot Review Process in the police . . .
