WASHINGTON, July 24 -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, ranking Democratic member of the Senate Finance Committee, issued the following news:
Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Ron Wyden, D-Ore., requested that Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin report to Congress, as required by law, as to why the department violated the Antideficiency Act during the 2018-2019 federal government shutdown.
