Idaho Education Association: Idaho Needs a Reality Check on Reopening Schools Safely

BOISE, Idaho, July 23 -- The Idaho Education Association issued the following statement by President Layne McInelly:

Public education in Idaho is on a collision course, with two trains barreling toward each other. On one track is an out-of-control increase in cases of a deadly virus. On the other track is Idaho's woeful funding of public education.

It is unfortunate, but a somewhat self-inflicted dilemma. State and local officials want to reopen schools, but they lack . . .
