LANSING, Michigan, July 23 -- The Michigan League for Public Policy issued the following statement on July 22 by President and CEO Gilda Z. Jacobs on the 2020 state budget agreement:
"We can't wish or will this fiscal crisis away any more than we can COVID-19. But in both cases, we can and must do what we can to lessen its impact on our state and its people.
