WASHINGTON, July 23 -- Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Oregon, issued the following news release:
Rep. Peter DeFazio (OR-04), Chair of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Tuesday sent a letter to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) urging the preparation of emergency contingency plans at the Port of Gold Beach, which has been threatened by severe shoaling.
