WASHINGTON, July 22 -- The Declaration for American Democracy issued the following statement by Campaign Director Jana Morgan in response to the death of Rep. John Lewis, D-Georgia:
"We mourn the loss of Congressman John Lewis last week, and will remember him for his courage, tenacity, and great sacrifice in pursuit of civil rights for Black and Brown Americans.
