WASHINGTON, July 22 -- Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, and Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Maryland, chairman of the Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, issued the following statements on July 21 after the Trump administration released a memorandum attempting to ban undocumented immigrants from being counted in the 2020 Census:
