WASHINGTON, July 22 -- Rep. Andy Levin, D-Michigan, issued the following statement after the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act:
"We are in the middle of a pandemic and economic crisis that's brought our country to its knees. We need to invest in more testing, relief for small businesses, and funding to help schools reopen safely--not an already bloated military budget.
