NEW HAVEN, Connecticut, July 21 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut, John H. Durham, issued the following news release:
John H. Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that MICHAEL VERZELLA, 41, of Branford, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Kari A. Dooley in Bridgeport to 33 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, for stealing more than $240,000 from his non-profit employer and numerous individuals . . .
