WASHINGTON, July 21 -- Rep. Adam Smith, D-Washington, issued the following joint statement with Reps. Bennie G. Thompson, D-Mississippi and Jerrold Nadler, D-New York, after the Trump administration continued to use violent tactics against protestors in Portland, Oregon, throughout the weekend:
