WASHINGTON, July 21 -- Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Oregon, issued the following news release:
Oregon's U.S. Senators Jeff Merkley and Ron Wyden, along with 44 of their Democratic Senate colleagues, wrote to Vice President Mike Pence and Coronavirus Task Force Coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx urging the Trump Administration to reverse recent changes to coronavirus reporting data. The changed reporting rules now require hospitals to report data to a new system set up by the Department of Health . . .
