WASHINGTON, July 20 -- Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics issued the following statement on the death of Rep. John Lewis, D-Georgia:
"We join all Americans in mourning the passing of Rep. John Lewis, a shining beacon for equality and justice.
His courage, commitment and decency in pursuit of equal justice for all serves as a tremendous lesson of doing the most good with the time we have on this earth.
