WASHINGTON, July 20 -- Rep. Jim Langevin, D-Rhode Island, issued the following statement on the death of Rep. John Lewis, D-Georgia:
"John Lewis was an icon of the Civil Rights Movement and an American hero whose passionate advocacy to ensure justice and equality for all helped change the course of our history. He has forever left a mark on our nation as a man of and for the people who was not afraid to 'get into good trouble, necessary trouble,' to realize transformational cha . . .
