WASHINGTON, July 18 -- Rep. Donna Shalala, D-Florida, issued the following statement after the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced that it has selected the University of Miami to host the Cooperative Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Studies:
This selection comes with an award of up to $310 million dollars over the course of five years.
