WASHINGTON, July 17 -- Rep. W. Greg Steube, R-Florida, issued the following news release:
U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) joined colleagues in sending a letter to President Donald Trump encouraging his efforts to restrict TikTok and other social media sites linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from accessing U.S. markets.
"Using apps like TikTok to collect American data and violate our privacy and safety is just another tactic the Chinese Communist . . .
