WASHINGTON, July 16 -- Rep. Andy Levin, D-Michigan, issued the following statement amid the public debate on school reopening:
"As a father of four, as a lifetime advocate for and product of our public schools, as a union organizer with worker safety top-of-mind, and as a human being with compassion and common sense, I'm calling on this administration to stop demanding that in-person instruction resume while failing to contain the coronavirus or provide schools with the resourc . . .
