Center for Reproductive Rights: Tennessee Abortion Ban Blocked by Federal Court Minutes After Being Signed Into Law

NEW YORK, July 14 -- The Center for Reproductive Rights issued the following news release on July 13:

A federal district court in Tennessee issued a temporary restraining order, blocking a law signed by Gov. Bill Lee earlier that bans abortion at nearly every stage of pregnancy and for reasons related to race, gender, or fetal diagnosis.
