HOUSTON, Texas, July 14 -- Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) announced sanctions against several U.S. officials, including U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, for speaking out against the horrific human rights abuses occurring in the authoritarian state.
