WASHINGTON, July 11 -- Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, issued the following joint statement with Sen. Jim Risch, R-Idaho, on July 10 in reaction to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's effort to convert the Hagia Museum of Istanbul from a world-famous cultural site into a mosque:
