WASHINGTON, July 10 -- Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, ranking Republican member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement applauding the Trump administration for placing sanctions on top Chinese Communist Party officials for their human rights abuses against Uyghur Muslims and other ethnic minorities in Xinjiang:
