WASHINGTON, July 10 -- Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following opening remarks on July 9 at a Consumer Protection and Commerce Subcommittee hearing entitled "Consumers Beware: Increased Risks During the COVID-19 Pandemic":
