Transportation Labor Applauds Senators Who Call for $32 Billion for America's Transit Systems

WASHINGTON, July 9 -- The AFL-CIO's Department of Transportation Trades issued the following statement by President Larry Willis applauding Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, and a group of 26 Senators for urging Senate leadership to prioritize $32 billion in emergency support for the nation's public transit systems amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis:
