Congressman Michael C. Burgess, M.D. (R-TX), a member of the House Rules Committee and Republican Leader of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health, released the following statement after today's U.S. Supreme Court ruling that The Little Sisters of the Poor, a Catholic charity, cannot be forced by the government to act in violation of their religious beliefs.
