WASHINGTON, July 8 -- Rep. Kay Granger, R-Texas, ranking Republican member of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following news release on July 7:

Today, the subcommittees on Homeland Security; Interior and Environment; Legislative Branch; Energy and Water Development; and Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education met to consider their appropriations bills for fiscal year 2021.
