WASHINGTON, July 8 -- Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-New York, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand announced $424,000 in federal rural development funding allocated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development as part of the Water and Waste Disposal Loans and Grants program. The funding will be used to update the existing sewer system to meet applicable health and sanitary standards.
