WASHINGTON, July 7 -- Rep. Mac Thornberry, R-Texas, issued the following statement after the House voted on the Democratic Majority transportation and infrastructure bill (H.R. 2):
"Traditionally, major infrastructure bills have passed Congress with bipartisan deliberation and support. However, Speaker Pelosi and the Democratic Majority continue to force through partisan legislation that will go no further.
"This bill includes $1 trillion of taxpayer funding . . .
