WASHINGTON, July 7 -- Rep. Thomas Suozzi, D-New York, issued the following news release:
On Friday, Congressman Tom Suozzi (D - Long Island, Queens) announced that the Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a contract for the long-overdue demolition of Buildings 1 and 2 at the Northport VA Medical Center. The demolition of these two decaying buildings, which are the first structures one sees upon entering the Northport campus, will yield much-needed parking for the facility which cares . . .
