Congressman Filemon Vela (TX-34) announced the U.S. House Armed Services Committee passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2021. After more than 12 hours of deliberations in committee, the bill, which authorizes $741 billion in national security spending and sets policy for the Pentagon, was adopted by a vote of 56-0.
