WASHINGTON, July 3 -- Rep. Brian Babin, R-Texas, issued the following statement in response to the House passage of the INVEST in America Act (H.R. 2):
"H.R. 2 was packed full of radical Green New Deal policies that I could never support.
"Overall, this bill fails to provide the funding and resources to the appropriate areas and programs to meet America's infrastructure needs. This was merely another important bill that Democrats hijacked to push their social . . .
