INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, July 3 -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana issued the following news release on July 2:
The U.S. Supreme Court issued orders, granting two petitions for certiorari regarding Indiana abortion restrictions, vacating the lower court decisions and sending the cases back down for further review. The orders come just days after the Supreme Court struck down a Louisiana law restricting access to abortion in June Medical Services v. Russo.
