WASHINGTON, July 2 -- Rep. Jim Langevin, D-Rhode Island, issued the following news release:
Congressman Jim Langevin (D-RI) voted late this evening to advance the Fiscal Year 2021 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) out of the House Committee on Armed Services. The annual defense policy bill, which authorizes $732 billion in funding for the military over the next year, passed by a vote of 56-0.
