WASHINGTON, July 2 -- Rep. Jim Langevin, D-Rhode Island, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse, along with Congressmen Jim Langevin and David Cicilline, announced that the state will receive $8,433,558 in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to improve public safety and bolster Rhode Island's emergency preparedness efforts.
