WASHINGTON, July 1 -- Rep. Joe Courtney, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release:
Congressman Joe Courtney (CT-02) announced the award of $1,500,000 in new federal funding to the Eastern Connecticut Workforce Investment Board (EWIB). The grant funding was awarded through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and will enable EWIB to provide low-income individuals in eastern Connecticut, including recipients of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) . . .
