JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO, Texas, July 1 -- The U.S. Army Medicine issued the following news:

Lt. Gen. R. Scott Dingle, U.S. Army Surgeon General, assumed responsibility as the Commanding General of the U.S. Army Medical Command, June 24, 2020, on Fort Sam Houston, Texas, in a socially-distanced virtual ceremony hosted by Gen. James C. McConville, Chief of Staff of the Army.
