WASHINGTON, July 1 -- House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Maryland, issued the following statement on June 30 after the House unanimously adopted Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee's, D-Texas, resolution that recognizes June 19 as this year's Juneteenth Independence Day:
